wd20nmvw-11edzs6 strange behaveour

Drive spin up OK without strange noises. Windows detects drive(reports that there are some problems with reading) and show contents.
With explorer it is possible to copy around 2GB of data with speed 20-100MB/s after that drops to few 10-100kb/s.
I was try to read ROM via bootcode without success.
On PC3000 I'm unable to work on firmware, but I can create task in DE and read small amount of data.

Any suggestion how to read rom to convert drive to SATA. I have only Toshiba and Samsung terminal connectors.

Slow issue and/or head/s problem.

Find a compatible SATA (771960) and transfer ROM.

This post is very old.

The hard drive was with an USB 3.0 interface.
Slow issues are typical from WD Elements / WD MyPassport and often come from bad sectors

The Relo list can be purged if the USB to SATA bridge let VSC commands pass though.
