It's the ROM problem.
The PCB in another HDD with the corresponding ROM works perfectly.
I'm trying to rebuild the ROM.

Is the ROM dead or merely corrupt? Can you upload a ROM dump?

The ROM chip is fine. ROM is corrupt
, as the first diagnosis.

The CPs seem OK. All except two have an XOR8 sum of 0x00.

However, the ROM is for a different model (MK3275GSX):

56_MN.bin

Code:
Offset(h) 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 0A 0B 0C 0D 0E 0F

00000000  4D 4E 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20  MN
00000010  20 20 20 20 20 38 32 4C 37 59 4F 52 58 46 54 4F       82L7YORXFTO
00000020  53 48 49 42 41 20 4D 4B 33 32 37 35 47 53 58 20  SHIBA MK3275GSX

Thanks for the information submitted
It seems that they have changed the PCB to the HDD.
Tomorrow I will do some checks and comment what I found out.

If the PCB is OK, it should report the serial number of the drive it came from...
This is what you had to start with.

The PCB isolated from the HDD does nothing. It does not even give a signal of BUSY.
I think it has a corrupt part of executable code.

The correct way to do it:
1. Wait the drive to clear BUSY
2. Send RST
3. Send SON
4. Get the Passport

This circumstance does not occur at any time.
It does the same as if it did not have the ROM.
I have tried several isolated TOSHIBA PCBs and with what you mention, they work fine, but different PCBs with the ROM that I have uploaded do nothing.

Maybe PUIS is enabled.
Did you try a terminal connection?

56.bin says it's not original ROM

Sometimes I am doing this way with MRT.
Try to open "edit HDD ID" section. It's read drive info again. After read info "Cancel"
And re identify device.
Device info comes . And more option works

I do not know what the PUIS are, I've seen them in the MRTLAB tool for SAMSUNG but I do not know what they are for.
I will test if I have communication by terminal.

This is what I get per terminal.
It does the same as if I remove the ROM.
I think the MC is working with the BOOTLOADER.

OK. The ROM is already dead.
The next time you'll kow what to do first.

PUIS is Power Up In Standby. If PUIS were enabled, a functioning drive would come ready almost immediately.

As for the ROM, there appears to be a 6-byte CRC at offset 0x6FF78. I don't know how it is calculated, though.

I think there would be possibilities to put this HDD back into operation, if it had a ROM of this model.
For the moment, I will start with a ROM of the same PCB model and, if possible, the same firmware version.
If I get a similar one, I'll upload it, in case someone is interested.

Code:
TOSHIBA MK7575GSX.                        USER FW VERSION  GT001M  .  FACTORY VERSION  GT001M9 .12/21/2011

I'm not sure if the PCB corresponds to this HDD.
The PCB model that it brings is G002825A

@fzabkar, I'm going to modify some ROM of this PCB model, without taking CHECKSUM into account, and comment on the effects it has on the HDD. When I have a space I will do it.

Does anyone know of any compiler or decompiler for marvell chips?

Thank you all.
