Was dropped while in a laptop. Head is knocked off ramp and touching side of platter (not surface). Head is certainly ruined. No visible platter damage.
Looking for US only on this one as time is a factor. If interested, please PM an estimate.

why did you opened the drive ? 
you just put the recovery at risk and will cost more

does the offer still stand? i was looking for an hard disk drive for some experiment purpose .
