Hello,

We're missing the Toshiba serial port connector for a 3.5" IDE drive. Does anyone have the pinout of GND, TX and RX on the HD, so I can connect it manually?

Thanks.

Is that a Toshiba or a Maxtor?

I could be wrong here, but PC3000 does not manufacture a terminal connector for the Maxtor, so you might assume there is no Tx or Rx on these boards. You can however put the drive in safe mode using jumpers.

How to access safe mode

Thanks

ISTR that some of those old docs are available via public download from Ace Lab's own web site ...

eg http://www.acelab.ru/dep.pc/doc.pc3000dos/060713.001/Maxtor_DSP_POKER_ARDENT_ver4.pdf

http://www.google.com/search?q=site:acelab.ru+filetype:pdf+maxtor

Just had a quick check and couldn't see them. But I guess if they had them up at one time they can't complain.

You are indeed correct. There is no direct link to them from the Ace Labs site, but if they are searchable then they are available.

I arrived here by drilling downwards from the home page:

Technical support of old equipment:

Well spotted. I guess they are not concerned about the legacy stuff.
