There's a story to it but I won't mention it to save time. In a nutshell, I pulled 2 computers from a house being renovated, fixed them up, one hard drive is suspicious.

So from the start of this particular computer, I had little hope going into it. I took the drive out of it, plugged in the power, and sure enough, it was clicking. But something I noticed about it was different. It wasn't giving grindy sounding clicks and it didn't sound like anything was physically damaged per say. I pulled out my USB to UART and hooked it up. For 2 whole weeks, the terminal only gave me this:

Head Mask 0A00 - Switch to full int.
Ready
Head Mask 0800 - Switch to full int.
Ready
Head Mask 0801 - Switch to full int.
Ready
Head Mask 0802 - Switch to full int.
Ready
Head Mask 0803 - Switch to full int.
Ready
Head Mask 0800 - Switch to full int.
Ready
(repeats)

I was really close to pulling the plug and selling the PCB as donor parts on eBay, but then, the drive made a full seek without the report, and reported back this:
U10 - ST317221A ,03.02
I won't dive into what went on after that, but after hours of trial and error, plus overloading the pre F3 terminal with ^R and ^C, I got around to copying half the drive into a VHD on my main computer. At half way through, things suddenly turned back, and looking worse. The drive stopped with this:
0004 FC24 FCAA FCAA F5C6 0000 (4 different numbers each time) 0000 0004 000B 0013 0003 0800 0000 70B6 FCAC
Interface task reset0003 0000 0000 0000 0004 FC00 00F1 0D74 040B 0009 9896 0000

Interface task reset comes up so fast I lose the numbers. Basically, whenever I connect the PATA connector to a PATA to USB, the drive will give me that same 0004 FC24 FCAA FCAA F5C6 0000 error and shutdown, start back up, and do it again after 10 seconds. When I connect the drive to a fully native PATA motherboard, it wont report in BIOS, and when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del on the keyboard, the drive restarts itself with the same error.

Also, I am super new to this. I've only done a 7200.11 BSY fix, and I have some documents of pre F3 commands, but I can't seem to figure out what is causing this sudden issue. Also as I should mention, instead of reporting some sort of message like PMstr and ATRst, it says
alid CSPT - Rev 67.0A.DC.42
Valid RWF - Rev 92.81
Valid OVLY - Rev 03.02.53

T>
Originally, I wouldn't default into terminal.

It's not a F3 drive...

Yes I understand, and please, I know you're a pro so please don't take offense when I say this, but what is your point? By the looks of it, pre F3 Seagate drives still have serial terminals, albeit not nearly as many commands. I apologize for potential ignorance.
