My Passport Ultra - WDBMWV0020BRD - 04 Password reset

Head of my HDD - My Passport Ultra - WDBMWV0020BRD - 04 was stuck which I opened and fixed. Now HDD is asking for password, even I am entering old set password it is not recognizing it.

Need help to reset password.

What exactly do you mean by “not recognising it”?

Does it actually say that the password is incorrect, or does it just do nothing after the password is entered?

Yes it did say password (Invalid password) after I enter password.

AFAIK, your Passport Ultra is one of those new families (Fblite...etc) not the old damn families which (some of them) has the FW issue bug
my best guess is this: Ask ur Client/Owner about the Pass. there is NO SUCH PASS. RESET thing in My Passport drives..

If you LOST your pass. and willing to pay for your data (its not gonna be cheap) contact me by PM.

This is Charger family.
After mechanical fixing procedure , without proper knowlege realted to this particulcar drives, you can say good bye to the data.
Encryption on them works differently to the previuse familes (Fblite etc).
