Hitachi (SATA) - SMART and MHDD scan results

August 6th, 2019, 16:57

Hello.

I have to repair a friend computer, which shows at start :
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM".

But before repairing damaged registry, I checked disk with MHDD, and I'm concerned about results.

Could you check SMART and scan results ? :

The reallocated, pending and uncorrectable sectors point to a degraded HDD. This, coupled with the damaged file, would suggest that this drive is not to be trusted.
