I would love to put a new TVS in, and the resistor too if it would add to the insurance. I searched for the datasheet or any material about the TVS (VU SLIG GP442) and could not find much except a maybe ST brother. I hope it doesn't affect it too much but as I don't know where I put the 5v TVS, I took the markings off the 12v TVS. Could you provide any help in sourcing?

A 12V TVS diode can be substituted with an SMBJ12A, and a 5V TVS diode with an SMAJ5.0A. It's all explained in my FAQ.

That helps, all I seen was the basic FAQ.
Do I need to replace the 0 ohm resistor?

You can replace it with an smt fuse, or just flow a blob of solder over it. Earlier drives just had a TVS diode, no fuse.
