Ok...so I purchased two EZ Store external drives and removed the WD80EDAZ drive from inside and installed in my Windows 10 computer. Reformatted them and all is well...however, I cannot add them to my Carbonite backup.
I'm not a hard drive expert or anything, but I assume that somehow, the drive still contains some indicator that it's an external drive and Carbonite is picking this up.
Any ideas on how to confirm and/or resolve this?
Side note: I am a Carbonite Plus subscriber, so I should be allowed to backup external drives anyway...I'm working on that with Carbonite.
