I have got seagate SV35 series hard disk (ST2000VX000 / CV26)
It is detected with wrong model 00S000G / SN is 000000 and Fw is absent. It is showing correct capacity . Terminal shows "LED: 000000BD FAddr: 00004267 " error.
What should I do to gain access. I have read that this is known defect in this uncommon disk.
Somehow I will have to reach to MC. Any suggestion pls.

Hello Terminator2

This is particular defect with some seagate families like Pipeline LP series. Fortunately I have got success with 3-4 cases (I was not able to create head Map though)

Pls. check whether terminal is free or locked , if locked short read channel and establish terminal access. If you could read modules & sysfiles clear SMP flags.
I think this should be enough to improve sector access.

Hello,

Most of the terminal commands are locked, as in all recent sg drives.
The drive has problem with at least one of the overlays, perhaps as a result of fw update?

I think what pepe can solve even without checking disk ,I cant with present disk. When it comes seagate pepe is one of the super guru.
I dont know about firmware upgrade but customer brought it in this state. Possible someone to whom it has been given earlier might have attempted.
Fortunately I have been able to gain access to sectors and start imaging. Still headmap is not getting created.
Thanks pepe and Higgsboson

Well,
The LED BD Error Is a Media Cache Problem Mostly ,I think you removed the set flags in Volume 03 0x093 sysfile to get access or did you regenerate translator

a LED BD error can be anything, the cause can be determined by the FAddr parameter.

Yes I simply removed MC Flags. There was no need to touch translator.
