 Post subject: SSD Kingstone 240 gb i cant remove the partions

Hi
I used many partitions tool to remove the SSD partitions but fails.I cloned from hard disk to SSD after finished still the old partitions there .Pls any idea to remove of fix the SSD ?

It might have set itself to read-only mode to prevent further data loss. I had such case recently. Check smart first, to find out a bit more about its condition. A secure erase might give you better results, however, i think it is not a reliable device anymore...

They just don't do what you ask them to or are there any specific responses or (error) messages? What if you use for example HxD to zap the first sector?

I would try DISKPART. It is somewhat tedious but might be the only way. There are too many functions to detail here so look it up. I would start with CLEAN assuming there isn't anything on the drive you want.
