WD Mybook 3TB

May 15th, 2023, 16:38

Hi all,

I have a Mybook 3TB which I need to decrypt, it has a JMicron controller.

It has no password, but I stupidly (and only) mounted it in Windows and wrecked the MBR.

I came across Roberto and his software here. I have sent PM but cant seem to get a reply regarding his software.

Can anyone help re his software and/or recovering my the data.

Many thanks
Vas

What is wrong with the bridge PCB? Some simple faults can be bypassed with a wire link.

Otherwise, there is reallymine:

Thanks for your reply, I don't know how to use linux, the andlabs method. It looks like Roberto's paid program would work, but no reply or if anyone has had experience using it perhaps they could let me know?

Thanks
Vas
