Post subject: Which rom programmer works with Toshiba drives.

Which programmer I should buy to copy contents of Toshiba roms. I have the cheap CH341A which seems to read the roms but won't write without errors. I have tried 2 drives...same issue. I do very few of these so I need the cheapest that will do this one-off case.

Has anyone used the CH341A successfully on these roms? I have tried various CH341 software / versions.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

I have been using SOFI SP8-A for years with some of these connectors

a terminal adapter is sufficient for most tosh families...

Wonder why terminal ROM read/write function for Toshibas is missing in out tools.
