To be frank i seriously do not know what these CPs value or even the extract of ROM can you kindly help fixing the rom or show me a way to fix it as i do not have much knowledge about rom structures

I have got all the CPs extract which you have sent there is so many CP files starts with CP_8A to CP_A6 here where do i check CP 0xA0 what does EPOD means and CRTC means

I don't know what these particular CPs do, but it appears that the ROM order in donor #1 is reversed.

Code:
             0xA0                0x85

          ROM1   ROM2        ROM1    ROM2
        .------.------.   .-------.-------.
Patient | EPOD | CRTC |   | data  | empty |
        |      |      |   |       |       |
Donor 1 | CRTC | EPOD |   | empty | data  |
        |      |      |   |       |       |
Donor 2 | EPOD | CRTC |   | data  | empty |
        '------'------'   '-------'-------'

Hi fzabkar as i told earlier about interswapping of Roms (i.e is left rom to right and right rom to left i did this to confirm that when we interswap the roms valu gets modified and i did this on donor 2 S/N: VYHVYSLM ) and when we power on drive comes ready with full id but no sector access again i took the rom and read the rom via t2 rom programmer some of the value gets modified am here attaching the original Roms which i took initial backup and also attaching Roms value after interswapping this might help us in fixing the patient Roms

this drive appears to have come out of an 8tb my book The Symptoms Are Consistent With The User Having Overvolted The Enclosure With A 19v Laptop Adapter THE USUAL RESULT IN SUCH CASES IS A SHORTED 12V TVS DIODE AND OR AN OPEN FUSE since neither u nor the other guy possess the basic skill to diagnose and repair such a trivial fault u should consider finding a different line of work what should have been an easy job requiring no more than an hour has now turned into a total data loss for ur client i will no longer respond to ur thread until u desist from offending me with ur unintelligible smsese rubbish please construct proper sentences with proper punctuation as befits a professional adult not some pretentious teenager

My sincere apologies Mr Fzabkar am extremely sorry for that, I do realize my mistake by the way of my text, Thank you for the support and time you seriously nailed it by bringing back the patient PCB to work again. You know as am not related to electrical or electronics, I get support from a laptop chip level service person for soldering and removing components from PCBs, When ever I get any hard drive with power related problems I seek help from them in order not to screw the patient drive as I value the importance of clients data. I would appreciate your skill so much. You did not even had the faulty PCB physically in hand you brought back the PATIENT PCB to life which my service person failed to do so. This hard drive was initially sent to another data recovery center before it arrived me, They have already removed both the ROMS(left and right) and I don't even know whether they put it back in original position. But am not trying to say I have got sufficient knowledge in handling these drive even I screwed the 1st Donor by reversing the order of the ROMS(left and right), now even DONOR 1 has the same problem like PATIENT DRIVE, that is (PATIENT AND DONOR 1) both drive will spin up with native PCB and ROMS Drive will come ready but no sector access in PC3000 Utility.

But DONOR 2 here DONOR 2 means second donor, after learning from DONOR 1. I carefully kept the orders of the ROMS(LEFT AND RIGHT)properly and also took the ROMS backup initially with ROM Programmer. Here as I have the initial backup for DONOR 2 ROMS(LEFT AND RIGHT) I noticed placing the LEFT ROM TO RIGHT AND RIGHT TO LEFT, ROMS values get modified, But with initial back of the ROMS I am able to get back the drive work by writing the initial backup of ROMS.

I did try my best to find a solution, but I'm not clever enough. Sorry.

Anyway, here are my rudimentary analyses of those firmware modules that were of interest to me:

https://www.hddoracle.com/viewtopic.php?p=24343#p24343

Module 0xA0 is the most interesting, but I don't understand its purpose.

In my humble opinion, the only way to proceed with this case involves sacrificing your second donor. I suspect that you will find that something is written to the SA, in which case there would be no publicly available solution.

Anyway, here is my HGST ROM parsing tool:

https://www.hddoracle.com/download/file.php?id=10254

I use Winmerge to compare the ROM dumps.

Good luck.
