Privet Vsem :)
does anybody know what to do with this harddisk?
Case at me:Electronic board totally burnt - NV Ram dead(has only ffff inside)
At reading out with other maybe compatible board it reads out everything
from module list but tells me psht bad!
Does some one know what to do?
Is there any module from drive were I could read the right head map, because I am not sure this electronic of my own has the right head map.
I tried five different drives - same type - five different head maps in NV Ram.
Thanks in advance,
best regards
Fritz :o

здравствуйте,гуру :)
We tested it with Пз 3000 and with eprom reader(ffff with eprom reader) and if you solder Nv-ram to another board - Board is dead(No Safemode -always busy-nothing works) :?

There is a copy of the NV image in the SA from the original factory copy. Not sure if PC3k allows you to read it :O( ask Ac8lab

Use another PCB to gain access to the SA

good luck

If you want access to SA then you need a good NVM. And now,
why you need the copy of NVM from SA?
It is possible to take out NVM content from SA with PC3K but you need
exactrly where is. More simple using directly Super ReadSector.

MMm if NV is specific for capacity. Also some NV images are not compatible e.g Apple. Just get it from the SA and you have correct image with correct wired head map.
