Write zeroes to 170h on MPG - see what happens.
This mod will take anything - will it ??

I have hundreds of these damn MPGs and will do anything with fun,
Like draw koki line from edge to centre and see if MHDD can fix it !.

Any suggestions will be tried, tested and reported.

Long time ago I was testing remap function in MHDD. So I was looking for a drive with bad blocks. I just opened a Quantum drive, and scratched it a bit with a nail. That worked great for me, also MHDD recovered that bads :-).

On Fujitsu drives you have mods 128-159 which are empty. Can be used as small file system :-)

On other drives lots of free space in SA (maxtors have about 5-10 megs free space AFAIK, WDs even more)
