Hy all

I am going to share my experience to unlock a IBM Travelstar IC25N030ATCS40-0 THE STEPS wich i following was ....

1 Power up unlocked HDD
2 Sleep unlocked HDD
3 Put unlocked PCB on locked HDD (power must be connected and drive should not spin)
4 SET PASSWORD on locked HDD (use PC3k to set your own password)
5 send sleep command to locked HDD
6 off power
7 connect locked PCB and unlock with your password
8 disable password with your password....
9 recover data

But . after the 8 step and stop the locked now unlocked hard disk.
The Donor was Damaged :( but. i make the same procedure but in reverse Fron the Locked now Unlocked to the Donnor
10.- Connect the "Locked" now unlocked hard disk
11.- Send Sleep Command and Change the HDA to the HDA Donnor
12. And Set Password . the same Password to unlock the locked hard disk
13.- Send Sleep Command Again And Turn off
14.- Change all to his original position. HDA and PCB
15.- Turn On the Donnor Hard Disk. And Select Unlock Hard Disk, And Unlock The Donnor with the Password. And Finished..
16.- All hard disk are working ....
:) Thanks ... Guru And Jerry
For all your help!!!

Hi, Guru,

Recently I sent U some NVRAM codes, but I got no feedback if they worked. So did they work?
U sometimes seem to me you are asking for things while sharing nothing useful. I asked where I could get a so called hdd.exe you mentioned in one of your posts, I got no answer for that either.
So can I help U further in any way?

pepe

Should be ..... I'll take that as a no ......

With regard to sharing info, sometimes I do. But most times other people answer the questions anyway. I helped one guy with password unlocking.

If you require firmware, I am sure I can help. Information is another story..sometimes I can help, sometimes I cannot.

Hello Pepe,

Your NVR's did not work, thank you anyway for these files. What have I asked for??? Only firmware I think and the only time I get firmware is from you. Sorry but this forum feels like it is used by people who only WANT WANT WANT private information................I ask for fimware sometimes and usually get nothing..

I will not spoon feed people like babies my or other peoples good information. Time spent, money spent in research cannot be given away free..................... I am sure people will understand this

Hi, Guru,

I understand your point and agree very much with you.
