Hi,
This will be interesting
Things that was not clear, for me of course
1- there is adaptives scripts ? or the script needs the adaptive to run ?
2- the loader when called will start the script ?
3- the adaptive when called will change ( rebuild ) or not but if is rebuild so something will change, or I did not understand the word rebuild ?
4- this happens only in ardent processor ? or there is others maxtor's processor with this ?
5- for each maxtor processor we will have one different script ? and if this is true we can not start the selfscan in PC3000 ? or in PC3000 there is selfscan for all differents maxtor processors ?

If I can receive some answer I will be gratfull.

i think he means rebuilding the adaptives for data recovery.

Selfscan rebuilds the adaptives but destroys data.

Question is how to rebuild adaptives without destroying data?

Maybe edit script so only adaptives are calculated :o
