 Post subject: I dont know what MHDD did to my hard disk.........

hellos......

well i have been using Mhdd for sometime now but 3days ago my hard disk started slowing down so i thought it had bad sectors or something of the sort, so, i decided to run Mhdd.........the 1st time it scanned so well...........i cancled, the second time i put the option of loop.......the it started off with error error error.............for a while then i pressed direction to skip then it run again but after i decided to start up my machine then it said no hard ...or somethin like unrecognised .......try again......not detected ...somethin of the sort....the i tried to boot with another hard disk ......but it wasnt detected....i have tried other tools of recovery of data but they all cant read the drive, i even tried bootin with linux en all it gave where many I/O error 001000 somethin similar to that.............i really need my files..............all my life was on that hard disk and now its gone............what can i dooooooo???? iam not a techy.....much of a techy but......i know some bit. i tried to use mhdd again and it was not detecting drive.............please i really need your help here.....

the hard disk is a seagate.

can you tell us your hdd model? SEAGATE?MAXTOR? OR OTHER?

the hard disk was working properly until i run MHDD on it then it got messed up now when i start up the machine all i get is:

" Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready"

when my machine boots it indicates it has seen it like..........37....blah (40GB) press F1 to continue.....then thats when it brings that error above.

some software i was usinf that retrieves data gave me those errors when i created a start up floppy that did a surface scan.

i used 4.6

last night i tried using some tool hda or somethin like that but it was giving unrecoverable error cyclic redundancy check error........

last night a again a friend brought his laptop to repair........it wasnt bootin properly....it was reachin somewhere near login screen then blue screen it the reboots...................the i run mhdd again on it then pressed f4 to scan en it started of with xxxxxxx that what even happened to my hard disk so i escaped so fast! now to start the thing it brings the error like tha one on my hard disk....." Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready" iam iam goin to be forced to lie to him............his laptop cant even show signs of booting!!!! what does that f4 do???? sometimes it works sometimes it jus kills the drive............this is the second time in row!!!! iam soooooooooooooo feelin low now!!! somebody...anybody????
