Well I wanted to ask a question. I know that what people commonly mistake for a low level format is a "zero fill" or writing across the surface of the disk to ensure an erase of the data.

Does the low level format tool from this website actually low level format a drive or just zero fill it.

Somone told me that LLF was bad because every hdd has bad sectors and the drive knows where their at and wont write to them. But if you LLF the drive ( a true LLF ) then it will "forget" where the bad sectors are and you could end up installing your OS on some bad sectors makeing data very subjectable to failing/crashing.

Once you zero fill a drive, is it impossible to recover the data??? Shoud you do it a few times???

LLF = Zero Fill.
If is impossible to recover data after a zero fill.
