Hi,
Are you Sure its a LDO .Secondly Shall i Swap the Parallel EPROM 49F1024 off the patient pcb to the donor pcb and try .Also the donor PCb has 29f102bb [this in My Opinion should not matter ] .I shall resolder the LDO back as it has no significance in the swap at all [ this is if its a LDO ]

Hi

Just put the donor PCB on patient. If it doesn't work, swap ROM. the other IC is not important.
U are right, 49F1024 and M29F102BB are interchangeable, at least when U don't want to program it.

Pepe,
But If We Read From One EPROM With Programmer and Write on The Other EPROM [ As Models Brands Are different ] It Will still Work .100% it Will Just Like BIOS on Motherboards

Hi All,
If I Solder the Patient Rom To Other Working Boards The HDD Does Not Spin .I Think i have

1 :Corrupt ROM [What Can I Do In this Stage then ]
2 :Screwed Up EPROM [ Short Circuit ]
