Hi,

Does anybody have any photos of a clean room being used in any data recovery company worldwide?

I was just wondering what the setup is made up of. I assume a laminar flow cabinet, hepa filter, tacky matts, clean room supplies and cleaning gear and lights.

If you know of any pics online please let me know. I would love to see what others are doing.

Thanks.
Zed.

I personally think payam is too arrogant and snob, he thinks he is the only one who has all the skills and money. I have never seen such an arrogant statements on any data recovery websites before. :ddown:

That's odd, i found it very honest and open. I could not find any other data recovery company showing what they have. That's just my opinion.

It may not be the biggest clean room but at least there is information on what's used and what staff do. I did not know about Tacky matts or about multi-platter removal tools. I emailed Payam and he told me where to buy it from. He told me to buy it from Salvation Data and to buy to buy the Tacky matts from 2 suppliers in Australia and 1 in the US. He also gave me some good tips on how to match up PCBs which i was after. We spent about 10 minutes talking on the phone and he was honest and provided a good insight on a PCB swap for a toshiba disk i needed some urgent help with.

Unlike most companies i have asked for information who try to hide everything and call them trade secrets. He was helpful as i told him i am learning data recovery and he said there is plenty of business for everybody and offered to become partners to exchange spare parts and PCBs when needed so we can help each other as i'm in Australia too.

If you see any other data recovery sites with photos or info please let me know - i am keen to see more examples.

I also called CBL and Ontrack in Australia, they would not send me any photos or give me any other tips other than 'Search Google' or bring your disk for a free quote. I respect honest data recovery people as i have heard so many bad stories about other companies who are dishonnest, i'm sure you have heard some too in your country.
