Hi,

Are there any companies speciliazed in selling donor hard drives to data recovery companies ?

I wish they were. I am sick of searching drives all over the world, asking every person for hard drive specifications, and plenty of times receiving wrong models (specialy from ebay users).

You know, if you don´t have the correct donor, data recovery is impossible.

I wish I could just ask it for, and some company could provide it.

If you know of any, please let me know.

I never use ebay. can never guarantee compatibility, or even that disks work! Access computer parts in USA, or Ultratec in UK are both good suppliers, both sell parts with DR in mind.

Or you can buy from auctions large LOTS of 500-1000 pcs AS IS drives they are cheap and u will get alot of donors .

I am working on a data recovery parts website at the moment, which hopefully will be up in a few weeks.
