These WD drives with physical problems, are tough nuts to crack, even to a pro.
It takes a long time, and a lot of buggered drives, to learn DR effectively.

I also agree. I spent more than 2 years practising on old drives before I tried a live one from a client - and even that was not important data belonging to a friend.
I learn something new practically every day - but then I research the subject every single day.
To the original poster - if by some remote chance you become a data recovery pro, you will realise just how naive you are being even believing for a nanosecond that you stand a snowball's chance of succeeding.
