Hello Mates,

Is there anybody help me repartitioning and formatting a sticky Samsung SV3012H HDD.

Anyhow, it doesn't accept any change on HDD user area such as repartition , format , erase , wipe etc. It seems as if it's read only.

I'm able to repartition it successfully until power down and up cycle. Than all data recorded on it appears again.

I have already tried to use most of the tools such as Partition Magic , HDAT2 , Victoria , MHDD , HDD Erase , HUTIL 2.10 , Disc Master etc. to solve the problem without success.

It accepts ERASE PREPARE command via ATA TOOLS v1.2 but rejects ERASE UNIT command with an error message like "Command rejected by drive"

it looks like it's frozen but I didn't see any program I've already used that reported the HDD's frozen.
