New adapter for pc3k that has an SD and micro card slot to enable you to access them in technological mode. Anyone got any idea of how useful this will be? Don't do chip off recovery in shop at present but looking at either pc3k or Rusolut.
Obviously being able to access monos with degraded chips would be much easier but I have no feel of how likely and achievable this is in cards.

Luke ,
I am The One Who Was Bugging Them To Make a Blog for The Same .They Just did That ->
http://blog.acelaboratory.com/pc-3000-f ... th-it.html .They Are Using Power Supply Variation control And frequency manipulations [ I wonder if we can really get Techno mode access ] to non readable Micro Sd and SD Cards

From my experience less than 3% cases of damaged card we can read on adapters like this (FE adapter), but this one should work in same way.

I Agree with you here,
but It did not work with me tried more than 15 DEAD MicroSD`s/MMC
If MicroSD is DEAD/Not reading --->> Must solder wires and so...
maybe one day they will improve it and hope this will be soon.

A good idea, but will be much better if it SND/RCV `s or upload a loader some how to dead/damaged memories, i like the concept idea but again needs more n more research and tests.
In Sep. 8th they started talking about it.
In Dec. 8th released
After few days i got mine
and i do believe it worth alot, mainly the IDEA, i like it
we don`t do much flashes here, in fact don`t care much about it, but sometimes 3-5 cases / Year will cover the expenses/tools
the same concept as in my prev. post

Hello ,
I think this is a good addon ,We can now use this instead of a card reader ,We can call it a glorified card reader with few extra controls like voltage ,frequency, speed etc .Also nice that we can do monolith type work on it for eMMC cards .Though i like the idea of having dedicated Ziff type eMMC and UFS Memory Readers

I received my new add-on adapter today and have been playing with it, using some older unrecoverable/declined monolithic cases. I've already found one project that it is working with, very cool.
Even if it only gets 1/10, it will be better than 0/10.

Have ordered the new pc3000 flash and some adapters including this one as my first venture into flash recovery. Hopefully worth it!

I may have spoken too soon with the one recovery...although it shows all sectors being read correctly and the FAT file structure looking great, the actual files are garbled. That said, it may be something that I can correct, once I figure out what I have control over.

Did you have any success with the card reader? Have been playing with mine with the card reader on a few abandoned recoveries and seems to read some of them but no files working so far. Not sure if its just the recoveries or many a bug with software (or me).

Went to try mount the drive to windows to see if I could scan through with r studio but not sure it did anything at all. Maybe initial software release just isnt quite there yet. Will give them a shout.
