it is almost impossible to make automatic recovery from flash Drive since there is lot of controller and algoritm used in Flash Drive. I Dont like using Automatic because we not learning... using manual recovery we will learn a lot and Understand more about File system... Now I'm in project recovery NTFS Partition from Flash Drive....
Hmmmm endless learning........

I couldn't understand why do you think that automatic revovery from flash sticks is impossible?
Yes, there are many other controllers and algorithms, but usually autorecovery works approximately in 70% of cases with new version of PC3K flash. 30% of cases fixed by my hands also in PC3K. Soft-center device is not user friendy. I have it too. I use it only in cases with non-standarts page size. I suppose that discussions about it absolutely useless. Just look on statistic.

You said - "autorecovery works aproximately in 70% of cases". So, is it automatic recovery? :)

prodata want to say, that it isn't possible to make a kit, which will be able to recover EVERY case automatically (100% of cases). I think, that it is not possible too. Some types of controllers are possible to recover automatically, but some of them not and You must use Your brain and hands. I've never used PC3K Flash, so I don't have a comparision between theese both devices, but Soft-Center Kit is very clearly and simply during using.

I have read some information about PC3000 FLASH and Softcenter. I can not figure out their tools can works really like they said as I never try their tools before. Maybe they are very wonderful, but I do not know.

I prefer to wait for the Flash Doctor from SalvationDATA. It is heard that their forthcoming Flash doctor will ger rid of the controller of Flash storage, but to analyse the data only based on the storage chip type and it can works automatically. Sounds so powerful. The so called "Universal algorithm " is really very intersting. I found the news in their website about this tool: http://www.salvationdata.com/news/20090206.htm , if you are curious about their development, you can read this.

It is true that SalvationDATA develops rapidly in these years and their tools are promoted a lot. I have all the tools from them and all of them are very easily to use and helpful. I am very happy to SalvationDATA. Espeically their service. So I also would like to wait thei Flash Doctor as it will come out soon.

P.S. I am just a commom user of SalvationDATA. Only this relationship. And I am just telling out the truth I do not want some one to see I am flattering.

Regards

Olive

Or buy an industrial programmer and learn how to deal with the 'mix', beside SMD rework gear. This really works, but it costed some thousand EUR and lot of time in experiments. Happy with that.

online-translator does the job too, Luke.
Give it the web-address and set the translation options.
Its rudimentary but you'll be able to read it :)

Thanks Dobre. It is funny how I am able to solve so many things that other techs cannot, yet I overlook something as simple as an online translator. Oh well, I never claimed to be perfect.

I have now PC3000 flash. Well, it is worth buying. I like their automatic modes very much! After studying many things about all tools available for flash recovery, I decided to try that one. Though now I need time to learn to use it. But the product promises a lot.
