I have damaged USB flash with chip HVNE3F3 0825. That's all what is written on the chip

Controller is Phison PS2233-F. I have never seen it yet too.

What is manufacturer of this chip?? I can't see any info info about it on Google.

Chip has 2GB (2.06) of capacity. Chip is readed properly. Readed ID is 0x98 0xd5 0x98 0x83. But after reading there is nothing similar to any data in dump (no FAT, no dirs, no files signatures... nothing...). Can it be crypted by PS2233?

I've come across something similar, a HVPE3F3, which was a 2Gb device.

The geometry in it was non standard, the page size was 4304 bytes.

My flash stick had a PS2231 controller.

Have you tried inverting the data and looking for FAT?

Yes. I have inverted too. There is no FAT too. Tried to seek for join_by_byte and search "FT2" "FT6" strings, but no result. No FAT dirs, no half dirs.... Maybe I have wrong CFG file for reading it. I used Soft-Center Kit to read this chip.

But all seems to be ok. ID is readed every time the same. Hmm.. I will try to read with 4304 page size and write result. Controller is PS2233 and I see no info on it too.

pcimage - do you remember what config you readed this chip? perhaps I must set fixed block size..? but don't know what size

It must be crypted. First sectors of data every time looks the same, so chip is properly reading. I give up.
