Hi all,

I downloaded this low formater and tried to format Kingston 4 GB Pen drive and 256 mb memory card. It did not format saying "Format Error occured at offset --------.

I am running Windows 7 on HP Pavilion tx2000 and I ran this formater as an Adminstrator. The reason for low formating is that Autorun.fj or inf has infected the MBR of both flash drives and I can not see any folders or pics in my emplorer.

Try removing existing partitions first. W7 does not like writing to drives that have existing disk structures

In disk manager select the partition - right click - delete partition.
Do this until there are no partitions left on the memory sticks.

If you have any data on these sticks it will be gone permanently if you run the 'low formatter'
