i posted my help asking in the software area cause i wasnt sure which one i should choose (hard ware or soft ware) but long story short video was deleted from ipod nano (the new ones with the camera on the back) need help getting file back

for some reason my post wont be posted in software so i used stellar phoenix 2.0 on the 8gb nano with the camera recoreded a video it got deleted used the program got a few ithmb files and a few mp4s but the mp4s wont play need help please!!!!!

the reason why they wont play is that mp4s needs a codecs for you to view it

thanks for the reply craig but sadly this isnt the problem as i have like every single codecs you can download for vlc quick time and windows player. i used recovery software to get these files off of an ipod nano that i recored a video on and it was then deleted

ok the main problem is that vlc does not support these type of formats

i would try and download a converter and convert the files to avi format.


download the below program and see if it works
if not sounds like the file could be beyond recovery
