anyone deal with this SSD? seem like SSD turn in to Panic mode.. drive got ready when power on but busy reading id

Very new case did not face yet.. i remember the one Macafee encrypted SDD case which is very slow in recovery but getting id were Ok. |

Trust me, I still have 2 Sandforce based controllers: OCZ Agility 2 and Corsair Force F120Gb. Both dead (or half dead) bcoz of panic mode. Yes I do tried to bring nands from another dead 120gb SSD (like 4-5 SSD like this donated from friends) but no help. Now: running away from Sandforce is a MUST for me

Now: running away from Sandforce is a MUST for me If you are not buying Sandforce, might help to say what you are buying, otherwise it really isn't very helpful. I have same problem at home, ask daughter what she wants for food.. "well I don't like fish".. Other controllers have their own issues as well, not just Sandforce. MILLIONS of people have no problems with Sandforce. (I wouldn't buy one either though, but I am not concerned for data recovery possibilities) Much better to plan for failure with backups done properly. recovering from any SSD I would not call easy, at the very least it will stretch out your time reading 16 or more chips, your HDD space on your recovery rig and your personal time. |
