 Post subject: Samsung 840EVO

I got this SSD, drive stays busy and can't get it into tech mode, can someone help me testing the components please, the issues to do a chip off recovery this drive is encrypted with truecrypt. I'm just started to learn SSD recovery.

Likely not an eletronics related issue. Seems more like firmware issue.

Agree, much more likely to be a FW problem.

I found the way to Safe-Mode: You have to short the 2 pins next to the JTAG pins. In Safe Mode, a UART interface in 2 other pins near them is available. More details can be found here: http://www2.futureware.at/~philipp/ssd/ ... Manual.pdf
