very unusual for sandisk to remove the chip markings.. under good light and magnification is there any markings at all?

Not sure why there is so much confusion. This is a Toshiba (?? or reprogramed as SanDisk in this case ??) NAND chip. Kingston uses them all the time with Phison controllers. They're pretty standard. Somebody is doing something wrong if they can't read this chip easily. That said you have to play around with the settings to get a perfect read but it's possible.

Just wondering, this drive doesn't use a PPTC, did you take that into account before trying to do an off chip recovery.. It might save you a lot of grief.

Here is the chip as best as I can picture it. The code is almost readable but not quite.

The only way we could get data from this chip was to complete a pin-out. Both Ace Labs and VNR looked at the case remotely and couldn't get the chip to read.

My Notes:
Solder Vcc pins only (pass VccQ).
Solder Vss pin to the GND on the circuit Board.
It has 2xBus so solder the pins marked with "0" (such as DQ1-0, DQ2-0, DQ3-0 and others)
Then unsolder them and solder DQ1-1, DQ2-1, DQ3-1 etc..
Vpp and Vref do not need to be used.
Test for continuity, if connections are the same, then just solder 1 of them.
VssQ - GND.
/RB /RE etc. these are negative no need to connect.
R/N1-1 should be soldered to the same place like and R/B0-1 but when you will read the second plane of mem chip (DQ1-1, DQ2-1, DQ3-1 etc..)

hi guys, I'm new and i have been doing a lot of research to find a flash drive that has a LGA60 board in it with NAND chip, i have 3 Flash drives and i wanted to switch the chips since we have a lot of memory in there, i have bought 5 or 6 different ones and they are all different, can anybody help me please?
