Create an image of it for safety. Then use file recovery software to scan and recover files. Read the forum a bit. Uee search function, etc.
Sounds overwhelming? Send to a specialist.

download DMDE
once the drive selection comes up, choose the XD card
once the drive opens, right click the top level (the whole device, not partitions) and choose image/clone.
in the bottom section of the image/clone settings that comes up, choose a destination file from the right. make sure it is a DIFFERENT disk. And it has enough free space.

I have previously written a better tutorial for imaging a device with pictures on the forum, so have a search.

after you have an image, you can scan it with DR software as labtech has said. R-Studio or GetDataBack

do not add any new files or photos into the card. In short stop using the card further
