I am trying to recover this SSD on PC3000 with DE. Its not recognized using any other software/hardware combo. Its probably got firmware issues, but its a Sandforce controller. I am able to get the drive to image for about 100,000 sectors by stopping the task, powering the drive down for a few seconds then starting the task again. I cannot replicate this in DE by changing 'loss of readiness' parameters no matter what I try. I think it may have something to do with the length of time the drive is powered down. Anyone know how I can write a script to replicate this in DE? Or anyone had similar issues and found that 'sweet spot'.
