Hello,
We got a case with Kingston SV300S37A/240G, when i checked it on PC3K i can see the SSD is shorting. unfortunately, the controller is SANDFORCE CL13824Z.
In theory, If i get a donor with the same controller and PCB, and i'll solder all memory chips to the donor PCB with same controller, what are the chances that would work?
Does anyone came a cross with this issue?
Thanks!

In practice, it would make more sense to invest in a US$5 multimeter and locate the cause of the short.
If this is your board ...

This part can be removed and bridged with a wire or a picofuse. If the PCB has additional problems, then your PC3K board should provide the current limiting.

Hi fzabkar,
Thanks for the tip,
So i bridged with a wire,
http://imgur.com/a/SOvJABut still - the SSD don't get power. and same like before, on PC3K i have no led indicator on.
What i can do next?
Thanks.

You have not addressed the cause of the short.
When you check the e-fuse, measure the resistances between 5Vin & Ground, 5Vin & 5Vout, and 5Vout & Ground. If the e-fuse is responsible for the short, then remove it. Otherwise, if the short is between 5Vout and Ground, and if the e-fuse is OK, then we need to do more investigating. Specifically, I would measure the resistance between ground and each of the coils.
- Code:
bridge
.----o o---.

SATA +5V | .-----------. |
| | | |
5Vin o--+--| --+--o 5Vout
| 5V e-fuse |

Well, apparently i can not edit the first post.
Here are both sides of the PCB:

I would measure the resistance of each capacitor. Also measure the resistance from each coil to ground, and measure the resistance between ground and each of 5Vin and 5Vout. Use the 200 ohms range of your meter.

This is essentially the power supply layout of your PCB:
- Code:
bridge
.----o o---.

SATA +5V | .-----------. | 5Vout coil Vout1

5Vin o--+--| --+--oo--+--| Reg1 |----UUU---+--oo---.
