Noob looking to Recover Data From Lexar 32GB - Micron

I have a lexar 32GB usb drive that shows up in Device Manager on Windows but shows no files and 0 capacity and 0 bytes used. I have captured the following information from Chip Genius.

I am looking for direction on how to start trying to recover and re-assemble the data. I do not have the budget for PC-3000. I am looking for help where possible and specifically to first determine if chip removal is the only option for this situation. Any methods for determining the root cause of the problem would be helpful.....outside of the troubleshooting that I have already performed. (changing drive letter in drive manager, trying other computers/usb ports, r-studio data recovery suite, paragon hdd manager)

Hardware failure, nothing you can do unless you have micro soldering experience. Do you?

OK. I have moderate experience with soldering. I am familiar with heat gun removal process with flux and wicking cleanup of solder points. Was hoping to use a TSOP 48 socket with reader/programmer but need some direction on reliable components and software for reading and reassembly. I can't afford pc3000 at this point so looking for cheaper alternatives.

Outsource is the most chip solution. Really. Flash is very complicated from mathematical/encryption point of view.

So you have two solution now:
1. Buy reader and software and solve the case
2. Make own reader and develop solution (it could take you few years).

How are your programming skills? You will need to write your own program to manipulate the dumps, as done by the very limited toolsets available. Basically, you either buy the tools (~ $3000 USD) or pay a professional (~500 USD) to do it for you.

If there were cheaper options, we'd all jump on them too.

Outsourcing something that's beyond your skills, knowledge or equipment its not a dirty word

I appreciate the advertisements for outsourcing, but I am looking for direction on this specific chip and software to start the recovery process. Anyone else out there with some guiding direction on this specific chip who has done the recovery and is not looking for business, but to educate?

You are asking for help on a professional forum. You will get answers from professionals who have dedicated their lives to this business, and the professional thing to do is buy the correct tools and do it the right way.

You don't want a heat gun for this. You should ideally use a low melt alloy and a micro soldering iron, or a rework station.

You may have luck buying an identical card and then swapping the NAND over to it that way. That's really the only DIY route to this. Otherwise, without the proper NAND flash recovery tools, I can't help you any more and quite honestly you probably won't get any help from anyone else here.

This method is not 100% save for data so I do not recommend it.
