Hello all, I've just received in a memory stick using a VFBGA63 chip (NQ280 Micron). I don't think this is eMMC as there is a pretty standard AU processor on the memory stick. I've not seen this type of chip in, and do not have any adapters to try and take a read out. Does anyone? John |

Cheers. Given it's unlikely to ever see on of these chips in again the cost associated with adapter is probably not worthwhile for a one off job. Thanks though for pointing it out and the PDF of specifications. The customer does have a copy of the data on a failed HDD too. It's Samsung M9 series with heads stuck to the platter. If I have the choice of wiring in to the pins of the BGA or replacing the heads on the HDD... well I think we all know the what we would choose. I'll make a check with one or two others to see if they hold the adapter in stock. Thanks, John |
