Hello To all My Seniors ,
I wanted to ask you that if i have a 16 Bit pinout SD Card From Sandisk And its Wired for 8 Bit Can it still Read Its ID Properly ? . I have one more question but i will ask after i get a reply to this one .I have a Sandisk Extreme 32 GB SD Card That is Iding Like 0x98009082 72570904 and i cannot pass Read ID section in PC3K .TS Guys Says ID is Not Correct ,I have Wired For SDHC Type 4 8 Bit pinout for this Sandisk .I checked all my connections are ok ,Micro Switch 1,2,3,4,5 are off and 6 is on .I2 that is WP is not connected .Also i have used VCC and GND from main pins and i have connected nothing to F1 and J1 VCC and K1 GND as i feel vcc and gnd can travel to that pins from main points of sd card .Shall i try and connect these three points .

Try on other reader to verify. It is typical problem with incorrect ID for monolith on PC3K reader. But it can be also some internal problem with chip or soldering.

Yeah, it’s cheap and good!

Not fancy, but it works.

Don’t forget to add the appropriate adaptors and the new voltage board!
