New SSD Apple MAC Pro mid 2017

Does anybody knows of any adapter to read data out of this SSD ?

This is Pcie 3.0 HDD. I have not sean adapters for this model.
It is possible to solder connection to a Pcie 3 M.2 adapter , but You also need computer that suppport PCI-E 3.0.
Also this HDD is encrypted in my opinion so You could only image it to another HDD without direct access to user data.

Can't You just instal this HDD in another Macbook?

I don't think any adapter exists for those just yet. I'm sure in 6-8 months you'll see something pop up on one of these sites:

For now, you'd better quote planning to solder up a custom adapter and pray that you get the power polarity right the first time.

A competent technician should have no trouble locating the power pins. There is no need to plug and pray.

Given that he only has 13 posts here I'm not making the assumption that he is an electronics master like you.

Besides, often chips on these Apple SSDs are sold only to them with little to no documentation available. I'm just saying that if you mix something up and send the wrong voltage somewhere while rigging up your own it could be an expensive mistake. Even to do this on a test subject will set you back $350. So you've got to plan that possibility into the risk factor of your pricing.

You don't need documentation, or a university degree, to find the power pins, assuming you can see both sides of the PCB.

A "professional" should not need to factor incompetence into his pricing, nor should he ever play Russian roulette with his client's data.

We received one of these SSDs in for the first time a few days ago. Currently looking for an adapter. Some information on these can be found here:
