Hi guys, I have a little problem with an old OCZ.

I've used this SSD on a USB bay to copy some files, after inactivity the drive went in sleep mode (I think) or something like that.
Now the BIOS can't recognise it anymore. From what I see a lot of people got the same problem. So I imagine the drive went in Panic Mode or similar. I noticed only a green led always on when I power the drive, but nothing more.

Is there anything I can do to unlock this mode?
The drive is obviously out of warranty because it is now a legacy product and OCZ was acquired by Toshiba in the meantime.

I attach a photo of the board.

Thank you really much, if you need other informations feel free to ask more.

You can attach to the serial port (RX/TX/GND) on the upper left, and you should see some output from the SSD when it is starting. That output might help to diagnose the problem.

I suspect that J5 may be a shorting point to place the SSD in "safe mode". I would first test for continuity between the round pad and the R/B pin of the NAND array. Also check whether the square pad is grounded.

Guys really thank you for your answers.

I will start reading from serial port as suggested by Sourcerer, I have a SiLabs CP2102, I think I will be able to read something.
Then I will start exploring the jumper J5, but I have to read "some" references before.

I hope there are possibilities...
