I have the above SSD (NGFF) which I am trying to diagnose. Power registers in PC3K show both 5V and 12V being okay, but the SSD does not show any other status register lights. This could be controller failure but wanted some input to see if there is anything wrong with the board. I have checked all caps and there are none shorted. @fzabkar?

Sorry, pic to follow shortly.

Can you measure the voltages at V1-V5 and Vboost?

Can you tell us the markings on ICs 1-4, PMIC and SDRAM?

What kind of adapter are you using?

@ddrecovery, are you perhaps using a regular M.2 SATA adapter? If so, then be aware that the client's SSD is an M.2 PCIe x4 device, not M.2 SATA. Can PC3000 handle these PCIe cases?

Supported interfaces:

    PATA,
    SATA,
mSATA (if there is an adapter),
M.2 (NGFF) (if there is an adapter).

You can still measure the voltages, assuming your adapter supports DEVSLP.

Yes I did realize after your post that it was PCIe. We did end up getting the data back using DDRescue. Thanks again for the help and the voltages will be very useful for future reference.
