Hi, I was running Windows 10 on this drive and on the last bootup it had the black screen with the white circle. It wouldn't boot into windows and I tried to recreate the Windows boot files to no avail. I searched and followed the instructions on this page: https://triplescomputers.com/blog/casestudies/repair-a-corrupted-efiuefi-boot-sector-and-bcd/ Afterwards I saw all my files had gone on this drive. I used EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard and Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery to scan for files and they found nothing. How can I recover my files? |

Data should still be recoverable, but depending on how much work CHKDSK did and any other actions you made, it may not be a perfect recovery. If software already found nothing, maybe it is time to get it looked at by a professional who will know best approach and software to use - if data is important that is. |
