 Post subject: Sandisk SSD z400s

I have one question.
Customer install fresh win10(format,..). After that they realize, that backup failed.

Now I scan drive. I can recover jpg files and MP4 files(size 350MB) mor or less they are good. With document files(pdf, doc, docx,..) I'm able to open only 4 files. All other are damaged.

I try with pc3000, r-studio, same result.

Any idea.

On a SSD you are very lucky for still getting something that opens.

Besides the problem of re-write, the way SSD works makes them very difficult or even impossible to recover...

I know that.
But strange is, that video files and jpg-s are ok, but all documents are corruped.
I use raw recovery.

Probably because the re-write section was on the part of the documents...
It's a Murphy Law: the data you really need will be corrupted. All the rest is fine!!!
