SSD Recommendation

I have ASUS N552VW Vivobook PRO.

I have 128GB default SSD and 500GB Samsung EVO570 SSD in it.

1) Without removing 128GB SSD and 500GB SSD can I put another SSD in it?

In this case what specs should this SSD have?

2) Can I buy a SSD and a enclosure and use it as external drive to install and play games?

1) No, there's only a single PCIe SSD slot (probably M.2 I'm not sure) and one 2.5" bay. So there's nowhere to add a third SSD
2) Yes, but in an external enclosure you'd lose most of the speed advantage of an SSD so it'd be a waste of money.

He could use a drive bay in lieu of the optical drive. That would have better transfer speeds than a USB 3.0 external drive. Although the included USB 3.1 port speed would be double the USB 3.0 port speed, I don't know where it ranks vs a drive in the ODD port.

I was talking about one of these drive bays that replaces the optical disk drive (aka ODD or DVD drive). You mount the SSD in it and the bay connects to the laptop PCI/PCIe bus which has much higher transfer speeds than the USB 3.0 bus.

Your laptop also has one USB 3.1 port so if your external drive has a USB 3.1 interface, you might try it first but with a SSD installed rather than a hard drive (rotating platters are much slower than SSDs) before swapping the ODD for the caddy.
