I am trying to make a bootable USB to install Windows 10 on a new built PC with Windows Media Creation Tool. Follow the steps and everything goes fine as expected.

However, it comes to an error after waiting about 30 minutes. Say There is an error to install Windows 10 on that USB stick.

It is 8G Kingston

try with a different USB.

are you trying to do it "online" or are all files needed downloaded locally? If you can download an ISO instead, I recommend using Rufus.

I disagree.

There are plenty of ways to check a USB for integrity, just need one that is ok and enough capacity. Also need to make you create the correct type of bootdisk, and the device you are trying to boot has correct settings in BIOS in regard to UEFI, Legacy, secure boot etc..

he already is getting the tool from Microsoft.

Sometimes USBs with CD emulated partitions or other security technologies create problems, but usually you see that before process starts.

I don't have the ISO file. Media Creation Tool claims it will download the ISO and burn it automatically. When I go to Windows 10 download page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/softwar ... /windows10

The download link directly goes to Media Creation Tool
