not cool, but it is the only way. 100% perfect flash is not ever expected, or possible so that's why the ECC and other technology is developed.

Let's not forget about 0xA2... the results are surprisingly good all things considered, many times I don't even need to process it for ECC..

0xA2 converts TLC NAND in Toshiba/SanDisk NAND into SLC NAND at the sacrifice of 2/3rds capacity.
