Doable.. with the right tools, which I don't have, whatever data was in the exposed silicon is lost though :-(
I'm saving up for an electron microscope :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm saying we get them from all over the world and that looks unrecoverable.. By us and I believe by anyone. If someone thinks they can recover a MicroSD cracked through the middle like that, and not JUST a small edge chipped off, then please do let me know..

Just doing a hypothetical thought experiment.

NAND memory is non-volatile so I don't think cells outside the damaged area would loose their charge, so they'd retain their data.
I think the issue would be reconnecting the damaged bit lines and pipe gates to the memory stack.

Yes, just would not ID with any NAND readers so no way to get to the data..

just measure each cell with a multimeter and record the results, write a python script to put it all back together
