 Post subject: Intel 600P short, what's this part.

Hello,

This drive got an electrical shot after customer connected wrong power supply. it's take 1.13 amp and get really hot, I can identify faulty part, is this a Mosfet ?

looking for same part to replace it.

Can you not tilt it and read the markings? What are the voltages on the pins?

I would test for shorts at the output of each DC-DC converter, ie between each inductor and ground.

thanks for the link to the other post, sad there was no final answer from OP.
there's several component to gnd here (both pads), all in red. I was thinking the Cap in blue could be the root but DC-DC is clearly heating quickly.

It's easy enough to pull the ic and see if the shorts disappear.
