seagate SR0nf1

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue with seagate SR0nf1. When I connect it to 3 different laptops there is a 'connecting sound' , but system doesn't recognise/see the drive. There is no sound from HHD and the light is flashing orange colour. Any idea how to get it fixed. I have spent a lot of time on YT, but without any successful result. Thank you in advance

Seagate expansions are standard hard drives rather than flash. Stay away from youtube it's terrible for data recovery videos. Can you feel or hear any movement in the drive when you connect the power at all.

+1 to what Lardman said.
It could be stiction. Place your ear against the drive and power it on. Can you hear a rather silent bzzz bzzz as if the drive is trying to spin up?

no sound at all. When I connect device to PC it's recognising it in Disk Managment(picture attached). Is it dead?

No capacity and not spinning. Has it been dropped, knocked or suffered from power problems?

You're welcome to send it in for a free evaluation if the data is worth professional recovery.

No it does not. It just sees your USB bridge.

Your best bet would be to take Lardman's offer for a free evaluation, if your data is valueable. Trust me, these drives are not fun when they get angry.
